We’re passionate about public safety.

Ci has a rich history of service and integrity. Since its founding in 1975, Ci has grown from a small team of three employees working out of an old gas station to a thriving business with 15 locations across the southeast and over 160 dedicated Employee Owners. At Ci, we are passionate about public safety, and our commitment to our customers has created many long-term relationships over the past four decades. Despite our growth and success, our guiding purpose remains the same: to serve the critical communications needs of those who preserve and enhance the safety of the communities in which we all live.

We are incredibly proud to be recognized as the Regional Center of Excellence, “RCE-EP,” for L3Harris in the Eastern region of the United States. This prestigious designation is a testament to our commitment to excellence and our strong partnership with L3Harris. It is an honor to be one of only two designated “RCE-EPs” in the world, and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue to provide innovative system integration and solutions to our clients. We look forward to continuing to exceed expectations and build on this success in the years to come.

In 2010, founder Bob Stork transitioned out of the role of company owner, passing on the business to the people who cared about it most – its employees. At that time, Ci became a 100% employee-owned company. Employee ownership at Ci translates to a more customer-focused culture and a higher level of service that sets us apart from other companies in our industry.

EMPLOYEE-OWNED COMPANY

In 2010, Ci became a 100% employee-owned company when founder Bob Stork transitioned out of the role of company owner and passed on the business to the people who cared about it most – its employees.

The Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) gives each Ci employee an opportunity to have equity ownership of the company. Together our Employee Owners share in the success of the business and have the ability to impact its performance through their individual contributions. This helps to increase the value and, therefore, each employee’s share of the company.

Ci is recognized as the Regional Center of Excellence, “RCE-EP”, for L3Harris in the Eastern region of the United States. This prestigious designation is a testament to the relationship between Ci and L3Harris and builds on our success as a system integrator and solution provider. Through this program, Ci is one of only 2 designated “RCE-EP’s” in the world.
