WHAT WE’RE DOING TO PRIORITIZE YOUR HEALTH
Like all of you, we at Ci continue to keep a close eye on the evolution and ever-changing status of COVID-19. The safety of our employees, partners, and customers is our number one priority. We want to inform you of the various measures the Ci team is taking to respond to this situation.
- In an effort to protect our employees and ensure that our customers receive CI serviced equipment that is safe, all of our service centers have significantly reduced in-house staffing by providing the equipment and procedures to allow for employees to work remotely. Other preventative safety actions taken include limiting business travel and participation in public events that may put our team and customers at risk.
- We have temporarily stopped our System Technicians from making proactive visits to customer-staffed sites, and have modified our equipment receipt practices to ensure that all equipment received by the shops (customer drop-off or in boxed shipments) has been properly disinfected using the protocols listed in the above TSM’s.
- All of our Service Centers remain open and Technicians are still available to respond to any issues that impact mission-critical communications, be it a system issue or an individual radio issue. For customers that visit our shops to have services completed, or drop-off or pick-up equipment we have set up curbside or drive-through services.
- We have purposely positioned our organization to continue to provide the full complement of services to your mission-critical communications equipment while making the health and safety of our employees and you, our public safety providers, a priority.In accordance with CDC guidelines, we have given special instructions to our employees advising them how to appropriately conduct themselves on your properties. This includes distancing themselves at least six feet from others, as well as utilizing hygiene best practices.
All of us share in the responsibility of keeping ourselves, our families and our neighbors safe during this critical, unprecedented time.
