Ci Participates in Harris Critical Communications Symposium

Ci was pleased to participate in Harris’ Critical Communications Symposium that took place Tuesday, February 28 and Wednesday, March 1 in Melbourne, FL.

The two day event included informative presentations on a variety of technology-related topics impacting the industry as well as interactive displays and product demonstrations. Attendees also had the opportunity to tour the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Mobile Command Center. Designed to provide on-site incident support during emergency situations, the command center work stations were equipped with new Harris XG-100 mobile radios to ensure reliable communications during the most challenging conditions. Ci installed the new radios at its Rockledge location, and we are proud to call Brevard County a longtime customer.

Other Ci customers Coral Gables, FL and Johnston County, NC were both spotlighted in videos presented during the symposium. The videos demonstrated the importance of having the right vendor partner for implementation and support in addition to the right technology to meet mission critical communication needs unique to that customer’s environment.

The symposium, which culminated with a tour of the Harris Global Innovation Center, was attended by hundreds of Harris customers and dealers from more than a dozen countries. We are excited to share innovations in products and technology with our customers and appreciate all who were able to attend.
