Communications International (Ci) is a leading wireless systems integrator specializing in the design and implementation of mission critical communications systems for the federal, state and local public safety, utility and transit industries. Headquartered in Vero Beach, Florida, Ci currently has fourteen locations throughout the southeast.
Founded in 1975, Ci’s history is one of service and integrity. We are a true partner to our customers – a single point of contact bringing together best of breed technologies, proven methodologies, and the commitment and expertise from more than 160 Employee Owners including skilled engineers, PMP-certified project managers, factory trained technicians and subject matter experts.
At Ci, we are passionate about public safety. It is this passion and dedication to our customers that has created many long-term relationships, and fueled Ci’s growth over the past four decades.
While much has changed since Ci began its operations, in an old gas station with just three employees, our guiding purpose has not. Today, we remain dedicated to serving the critical communications needs of those who preserve and enhance the safety of the communities in which we all live.
EMPLOYEE-OWNED COMPANY
In 2010, Ci became a 100% employee-owned company when founder Bob Stork transitioned out of the role of company owner and passed on the business to the people who cared about it most – its employees.
The Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) gives each Ci employee an opportunity to have equity ownership of the company. Ci is recognized as the Regional Center of Excellence, “RCE-EP”, for L3Harris in the Eastern region of the United States. This prestigious designation is a testament to the relationship between Ci and L3Harris and builds on our success as a system integrator and solution provider. Through this program, Ci is one of only 2 designated “RCE-EP’s” in the world.
